Konstantin Matulevsky

Born in Saint-Petersbourg. Graduated from Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet, by profession he is a ballet artist; G.Selitsky was his teacher.

In 2000-2006 worked as a principal dancer at the Bolshoi Theatre, Boris Eifman was his teacher there. Performed leading roles in ballets like “Tchaikovsky” (Tchaikovsky, reflection of Tchaikovsky), “Russian Hamlet” (Paul I), “Moliere and Don Juan” (Moliere), “Red Giselle” (Chekist), “My Jerusalem” (Jewish, Moslem), “Who is who” (Max), “Anna Karenina” (Karenin), “Don Quixote” (Bandit).

Since 2006 participated in projects by Anastasia Kadruleva and Artyom Ignatiev: “Vegetables and fruits” (station 42), “Through the Forest” (DVA), “Metamorphoses” (Frankfurt am Main); as a guest dancer participated in Vera Arbuzova’s project “Four seasons” (Valery Gergiev festival “The Red sea classic”).

In 2009-2010 worked at Sasha Kukin theatre (SPb), participated in performances “Dreams” and “1060”. Teaches in Dance school TSEKH. Participated in TSEKH festival, No translations, Cyberfest, Culturescapes (Bazel), Contemporary dance festival 9Berlin). Since 2013 works at theatre Ballet Moscow.
